Since more than one year now the METRO Group AG uses successfully the CISC RFID ASD Kit+Library. Prior to the whole RFID system installation METRO simulates setup with the CISC RFID ASD Kit+Library. By this means they were able to evaluate the correct setup in a cost effective way.
ITENE - Packaging, Transport and Logistics Research Institute, Spain
ITENE is an association with the purpose to boost the scientific research, the technological development, the development of the information society and the promotion of the environment in the packaging, transport and logistics sectors.
ITENE uses the advantages of CISC RFID Field Recorder® in several projects. A recent project was the empirical analysis of multiple UHF RFID tags on a pallet using the CISC RFID Field Recorder® to measure the RSSI (Received Strength Signal Intensity) at 16 different locations at the same time. With this tool the user is able to evaluate the performance of RFID transponders and to find out where to affix which RFID transponder on the object. CISC Semiconductor supported the EECC with its RFID know-how and created the powerful software to run this tool.

IBM setup a management for motor carriers for the Daimler AG Mercedes-Benz factory in Berlin. A CISC RFID engineering team using the CISC RFID Field Recorder supported the system integration team to achieve optimized read performance and minimum false positive reads.
