What is TecPET ?

• A powerful tool set for complete technology parameter evaluation
• Evaluation based on simulation
• Supports HSPICE, SPECTRE and also proprietary company inhouse spice based simulators (e.g. TITAN)
• Provides various flexible modules to analyze, edit, vary and view simulation parameters available from silicon foundries
• Helps design and process engineers to save a lot of time due its high grade of automatization analyzing technology performances (predefined control modules, runsets, ...)
• Application framework (SUN Solaris, Linux, Windows) using standard spice simulators for parameter evaluation

How does TecPET work?

• Analyzes different kinds of devices (MOS, FET, resistors, capacitors, ...)
• Varies technology parameter sets for different worst case conditions PCM ("Process Control Monitor") interface for comparison of simulation with fab measurements
• Converts simulation parameter file formats (HSPICE, SPECTRE, ELDO)
• Conversion of measurement file formats (UTMOS, BTA, ICCAP or ASCII)
• Displays simulation results in tablular and graphical form
• Report generator (export to Microsoft Excel or PDF or HTML format)
• Includes a text editor to view technology files or to actualize and customize control files
• Writes all interactions and settings of the user into a log-file
