Achieve 100% read rates

CISC RFID Xplorer is used by the Tönnjes E.A.S.T. R&D team to measure and verify the performance of these tags on the IDePLATE®in order to achieve 100% read rates by passing the reader portal. Mr. Dennis Brandwein, Technical Manager at Tönnjes E.A.S.T., says: “Xplorer is a very versatile tool used by our team in-house to measure the performance of tags we design. Accuracy and reliability are keys to the success of our products. Xplorer helps us to verify the accuracy, we require for our RFID tags. It can measure all the key performance metrics of a RFID tag. Data can be presented in a user-friendly format which is used by our team either for further analysis or presenting the information to potential clients.”

Optimized tag anti-collision

Dennis Brandwein further adds: “Our RFID tags achieve high read rates as we not only rely on the performance of the tag. We also analyze the performance of the RFID tag into the interaction in the presence of a reader in the environment. The Sniffer module of Xplorer helps us to achieve this. Sniffer is a tool to analyze RFID reader and tag signals. It lets user trigger on specific reader commands and further analyze the tag responses at this trigger.” With this feature, Tönnjes E.A.S.T. optimized the anti-collision of the tags and improves the overall speed at which the tags are readable. Sniffer is also used to evaluate their own software, which is being used in different IDePLATE®-RFID deployment projects around the world.
